Some things are worth knowing before you order. Here are the answers to the questions we hear most.
What is De Nieuwe Markt?
An independent concept store in Groningen, the Netherlands. We bring together curated streetwear, vintage and pre-loved clothing, art, books, zines and unusual design objects.
Where can I find the store?
Visit us at Oude Kijk in ’t Jatstraat 43, 9712 EC Groningen, the Netherlands. You can also shop the collection online.
Do you ship outside the Netherlands?
Yes. We currently ship to the Netherlands and other European Union countries. Available destinations and the applicable shipping charge are shown at checkout. Read our shipping policy for more details.
Can I collect my online order in the shop?
Yes. Free in-store pickup is available. Choose the pickup option at checkout and wait for confirmation that your order is ready before visiting.
How long does delivery take?
Standard delivery is currently estimated at 3–5 business days, although international orders and busy periods may take longer. The timing is an estimate, not a guarantee. See our shipping policy.
Can I return an online order?
In general, you can notify us within 14 days of receiving your online order that you wish to withdraw, then send the item back within a further 14 days. Legal exceptions can apply. Please read our full returns and refunds policy before returning anything.
What about vintage, artwork and one-of-a-kind items?
Vintage, pre-loved, art, handmade and consignment items are generally covered by the same statutory withdrawal rules for online purchases, unless a specific legal exception applies. Please check the product details and our return policy.
What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
Email info@denieuwemarkt.com as soon as reasonably possible with your order number, an explanation and photos where helpful. We will advise you on the next steps.
Can I exchange an item?
We do not process direct online exchanges. To order a different size or item, return the original purchase according to our policy and place a new order, subject to availability.
